School Work Treasures

We started doing this with the girls' schoolwork to cut down on clutter. They each have a folder in the pantry to put things they make at school. When it gets full, they put all their treasures up on the fridge and we take a picture. And they will happily throw them away. It works out great for everyone - eliminates clutter but we still have documentation of their work.

INGENIOUS! You are such a creative mom! I'll have to tuck all these little tips away...although my desk is already covered with Jake's first artistic "creations"... :)

I really need to do something like this with my kids. Jessica is such a pack rat, though, she won't throw anything away. Even math homework seems to have sentimental value to her--I don't know what we'll do. We'll have to rent a storage space here before too long if she doesn't grow out of it. :)

that's an awesome idea! Cahlin's not even in school yet, but his walls are getting kinda full with all the pictures he does at home! I'm gonna have to steal your idea!
