Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I really wanted to do something fun with all three of the girls for Halloween, but since I am a procrastinator and was scrambling at the last minute, we didn't come up with anything the girls wanted to be. My favorite was for them to be the three little pigs, but Kenna and Whitney weren't havin' it. So then I bought (and returned) a costume for Brynlee. (Mike LOVES it when I do that!) It didn't make a lot of sense to buy a costume for our month-old baby who wasn't going trick-or-treating and didn't match our girls. We were given the cute little shirt Bryn is wearing and I found some pants to go with it and we decided that would do. Since we weren't going to do costume I decided that she NEEDED a bow. So I called my friend, Angie, Wednesday night with my "bow emergency" and she whipped up this cute bow for me. Thanks Angie!!! So, Brynlee and I are here blogging and handing out candy while the girls and Daddy are out roaming the neighborhood. That is one thing I don't love about Halloween. One of us stays home and the other goes with the girls, but what can you do? I will answer the door for a little longer and then, because Brynlee is done with the up and down, will put out the candy bowl and when it's gone - it's gone.

Our 3 beauties

Whitney, Bailee, and Kenna after a hard evening's work - by chance they all chose to be cowgirls.

I hope that Whitney and Kenna, looking at the blog, don't think that Brynlee is our favorite! We love having three girls!

We LOVE Brynlee!

Lynette's handiwork

Well, since I am not smart enough in the blogging world to get fancy - I have to steal Lynette's handiwork. I thought this page turned out cute. Thanks Lynette!

Brynlee's Two Weeks Old

So I think Brynlee has something against me blogging - because every time I have sat down to blog in her first two weeks of life - she has decided that she needs me. So this will be short since, she is calling. How does she know? She had her two week check up on Friday and is doing great. She weighs 8 lbs 12 oz and is still 21 1/2 inches long. I am not sure where she put that extra 12 oz - apparently she is just growing out, or maybe she has a hollow leg. I took this picture this morning. Even though we aren't going to church yet, the girls thought she needed to wear a dress since it was Sunday - and she looked too cute not to take a picture. We LOVE having her in our family! She is such a good baby and is very tolerant of all of her sisters' love. I will write more and add more pictures soon.

Brynlee Lorene

We added another angel to our family at 4:36 this morning missing our Thursday goal by only 4 1/2 hours. (I guess we will let her first obedience test slide.) She weighs 8lbs and is 21 1/2 inches long - and beautiful!!! She has been very sleepy today and not very interested in eating so I think we will have to stay the night. I was really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed, but I may have to wait until tomorrow. So far she is a really good baby and is very mellow - we pray for that to continue. Even when they prick her she doesn't cry or even flinch. We feel so blessed to have her in our family.

About 2 hours old

Meeting their baby sister. Our friend Lynnette was so great to come over to our house at 2:45 a.m. so we could go to the hospital. We are lucky to have such good friends around us! Thank you, Lynnette!

Brynlee's first bath - she hardly cried at all.

We waited to give Brynlee her bath so the girls could watch.
