January

This years' sandman-complete with hair and a mustache. :)

Every once in awhile I guess I should be in the picture too.

Nursing our babies together. We have some neck pillows for our flights to the mainland and Brynlee has made one of them "her boppy." Whenever I nurse Kait, she has to go get her baby and boppy too. Such a good little mommy!

Suddenly Brynlee has so much hair! This was our first day making "curlies" in her hair. I wanted to show her curls but also her face. So pretty!

She enjoyed making faces at herself in the mirror-it was so funny to watch! I couldn't stop taking pictures! (Or decide which ones not to put in)

Silly girl!

I finally found a happy place for my plant! It has struggled since we brought it here. I finally put it out on the porch and it is so happy! The only downsides. I don't go on the porch much so I don't get to see it very often and since I don't see it, it is much more difficult to remember to water it. :)

My neighbor, Mibi, took this picture of Kait. I love her little smile! And chubby cheeks and legs and arms!

The Kimballs came over for family night so I dressed Kait in her "Wild about Daddy" outfit they gave her. Thank you!

Meeting Elder Bednar (again)
Elder and Sister Bednar came for a devotional on January 20. His devotional was great! He talked about how just having a testimony is not going to be enough to fight the temptations and challenges that we will face in the world today and in the future. He requested that his talk not be recorded or reprinted because he prepared it only for those who were there at that meeting. It was wonderful to be with an Apostle of Jesus Christ.

Elder Bednar was the president of Ricks College when Mike and I were students there. We love him! One Family Home Evening night Elder and Sister Bednar did a question/answer session for our ward. It was great-they have such a neat spirit! Mike and I had only been dating for about a month and after it was over we were waiting around trying to decide what to do. Sister Bednar came up to us and told us that she had been watching us throughout the evening and said she enjoyed watching how we had interacted with each other. She also commented on what a "cute couple" we were.
Mike had to opportunity to share this memory with them both and then we got to meet them. The campus photographer happened to right there and snapped this picture of them talking to us. They are exactly how I remember them at school and I loved seeing Elder Bednar engaged with Kaitlyn as Sister Bednar and I visited for a minute. They have a granddaughter who was born only a few days apart from Kait and she guessed exactly how old she was. If only Bryn didn't have such a goofy look on her face-this would be a perfect picture!

Gorgeous Kaitlyn

Two beautiful girls!

Since I don't have a triple stroller, and we needed to go faster than their little legs were carrying them, we improvised. Though I am pretty sure Bryn is heavier than Sage so I should have put her on the bottom!

My cousin Devin and his wife and three girls lived in Honolulu for the month of January and we enjoyed getting together a few times playing at the beach and having them over to our house. So great to have family here!
