Big Sister

Not much makes a mother happier than to see her children helping each other. I came out to this sight this morning. Kenna (and Whitney, too) are such great big sisters! They are so patient with Brynlee and are so good to play with her! I'm sure it helps that she is cute and so much fun to play with. :) Brynlee just adores them!

Practicing

Bryn is getting some good practice! (All un-encouraged) Bryn has been fascinated with babies (dolls and real ones) since she was six months old. She'll be a good big sister.

"Wooo! Stinky baby! Lay down and change your buns."

"These things are tricky...."

"Hold still, baby. The paparazzi is here and I've got to give 'em a few of my best looks. Don't move. Does this diaper make me look fat?"

"Ok, I'm back. Now, where did that diaper go?"

"There you go. Remember, the big people give you treats and act all crazy if you go potty on the toilet - so you can decide when you want that. I like the convenience of just going whenever and wherever I feel like it."

PINK PINK PINK!

This isn't actually our baby's ultrasound picture, but it pretty much looks like this. (I'm too lazy to scan our real one!) And, we are staying PINK! Kenna and Whitney were both rooting for another girl, and they got their wish. And honestly, it will be easier (at least short term) to have a girl. We are already equipped with all pink! :) We are so excited to welcome a new little angel into our family. What a blessing these daughters are!

Many people wondered if this was our boy because this pregnancy has been different than the rest. I have been more tired and felt crummy more. With my other three, whenever I started to feel nauseous, I just had to eat something and then I was fine. This time around, if I get nauseous, I stay feeling sick for the rest of the day. I keep trying to eat different things in hopes that I will feel better, but instead I think I am going to just gain a lot more weight this time around. I guess that would be worth it if it helped, but it doesn't!

Plugged In!

I fell asleep on the couch after church and came in to my room to find my family like this! The girls each have a laptop (one for Christmas and the other a birthday). They love to play with them and be just like Dad! Even Bryn joined in the fun!

Don't tell Bryn that hers is only a book! :)

Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter! I am learning to enjoy decorating eggs more now that the girls are older and it isn't such a mess. :) Bryn didn't even know what she was missing! And I think we will keep it that way maybe for another year.
